Funding Pathways
WIOA Workforce Grants (Tennessee)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funds approved trade training through Tennessee's American Job Centers. For eligible workers, WIOA can cover most or all of tuition. Tri Star Pro Academy is pursuing approval as a WIOA-eligible training provider — contact us for current status, and we'll point you to the right job center.
GI Bill / VA Benefits
GI Bill coverage requires Tennessee State Approving Agency (SAA) approval for each program. We are pursuing SAA approval. Veterans should reach out directly — we frequently coordinate alternative VA-friendly funding while SAA approval is in process.
Private Trade-School Lenders
Climb Credit, Meritize and Ascent fund students in comparable PPF and ceramic-coating academies. Typical terms are 24–60 month installments at competitive rates with no prepayment penalty.
In-House Payment Plan
Deposit + monthly installments. 0% interest for the first 6 months on qualifying tracks. Approval is based on a simple income verification — no formal credit check for plans under 6 months.
Employer Sponsorship
Shop owners regularly send current employees through the Pro Installer track. We invoice the shop directly. For most businesses this is a deductible workforce-training expense — ask your accountant.
Adjacent Adult-Learning Pathways
TN Reconnect and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology (TCAT) primarily fund their own associated programs — they're not a direct funding source for a private academy, but worth knowing about as you build a long-term career plan.
