What's the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?

Carbon looks great and blocks UV but ceramic blocks significantly more heat. If you live in Tennessee summers, ceramic is usually worth the upgrade.

Is ceramic tint really better than dyed?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ceramic film blocks significantly more infrared heat without going darker, won't fade purple over time, and doesn't interfere with phone or radio signals. Dyed film is cheaper but fades and offers minimal heat rejection.

What's legal in Tennessee?

TN allows 35% VLT or darker on front side windows, 35% or darker on rear sides and rear window, and a non-reflective AS-1 strip on the windshield (or windshield tint at 70%+ VLT). We help you stay legal at every drop-off.

How long does it take?

A full car typically takes 2–4 hours. You'll want to leave the windows up for 3–5 days while the film fully cures.
