FeynLab Coating Tiers Compared: Self Heal Plus, Heal Lite, Ceramic Ultra, V2, and Lite
March 20, 2026 · 9 min read

FeynLab makes one of the broadest coating lineups in the industry. Here's a plain-English comparison of every tier — durability, self-healing, warranty, and which one is right for your vehicle.
Why FeynLab is different
FeynLab is one of the only coating brands in the world that has true heat-activated self-healing technology. Self Heal Plus and Heal Lite contain a thick, soft self-healing top layer that smooths out micro-marring, wash marks, and very light scratches when warm water or sunlight hits the surface.
The non-self-healing tiers — Ceramic Ultra, Ceramic V2, and Ceramic Lite — use a more traditional hard nano-ceramic chemistry and step down from there in durability and warranty.
Self Heal Plus (Lifetime)
The flagship. Thick, glossy, self-healing, and backed by a lifetime warranty when registered and maintained. The right pick for collectors, dark-color enthusiasts, garage queens, and anyone who wants the deepest possible gloss.
Heal Lite (5-year)
Most of the Self Heal Plus benefits at a significantly lower price point. Same self-healing chemistry, slightly thinner application, 5-year warranty. Often the smart pick for performance-driven owners who want self-healing without going all-in on a lifetime coating.
Ceramic Ultra (7-year)
FeynLab's hardest non-self-healing coating. Best chemical and contamination resistance in the lineup. Great for vehicles that see harsh environments — road salt, brake dust, industrial fallout — and for owners who prioritize chemical durability over self-healing.
Ceramic V2 (5-year)
The most commonly recommended daily-driver coating. Premium gloss and hydrophobic behavior with a strong 5-year warranty. The sweet spot of price, durability, and finish for most customers.
Ceramic Lite (2-year)
Entry tier. A great way to step up from a wax or sealant. Gloss, slickness, and easy maintenance, with a 2-year warranty. Many customers start here and upgrade to V2 or Heal Lite at their next paint correction.
